There are other organisations that can assist members of the public who suffer bereavement, including the following:

NAFD The National Association of Funeral Directors – parent body of the LAFD.
SANDS Stillbirth & neonatal death charity. Provides support and practical information to the bereaved.
CRUSE Face-to-face and group support delivered by trained bereavement support volunteers.
DWP benefits Lists benefits you could get, how to claim and what happens if your circumstances change.
Coroner’s Support Service Gives practical and emotional support, whilst you are at the Coroner’s Court. If possible a volunteer will take you into the Court before the proceedings start and explain how an Inquest is conducted.
